The Ferrari Daytona Competition was a racing version of the Ferrari Daytona that was produced in very limited numbers. It featured a number of modifications for improved performance, including a lightweight (sometimes aluminium) body, tuned suspension, and a high-performance engine. The car was primarily intended for racing, and was campaigned by privateer teams in events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Daytona 24-hour race.
